What is the Perch Score?

A 0 to 100 rating of how well a place works as a workspace, built from six things we measure in person: Wi-Fi, noise, seats, outlets, parking and price.

Who does the measuring?

People who actually go and work there. Every session is a real visit with real instruments, and every number is reviewed before it counts.

How is this different from star ratings?

Stars average opinions. Perch records measurements: a speed test, a decibel sample, a count of seats and outlets. You can argue with an opinion, not with 48 Mbps.

Can I add a place?

Yes. Log a session at any café in Greater Orlando and it joins the site after a quick review. New places are the whole point.

Is it free? Do I need an account?

Free, and no account is needed to browse or to log a session. An account just puts your name on your sessions and syncs your saved spots.

What if a score looks wrong or old?

Scores age in public: the longer since the last session, the lower the confidence. If a number looks off, the fix is a fresh session, and anyone can log one.
